I want to upgrade my RAM. I have Samsung RAM DDR4 predefined installed of 8GB, 2667MHz and 19CL 19-19-19-43. Maximum RAM I can upgrade in my laptop is 32GB. I'm looking to remove the existing 8GB RAM and add 2 slots of 16GB each. Actually I do coding a lot and sometimes editing as well. Currently my system is hanging a lot.
Questions:
1. The speed of the new RAMs should be 2667MHz same as shown in task manager or can I use 3200MHz also?
2. The CL of my current RAM is 19CL. Should I use the same CL that is 19CL or I can use CL such as 15,16,17,18 or I can use CL such as 22. Form Factor is same as SODIMM and pins are 260 pins . Would it affect my system or not if the CL number is changed?
3. The company of RAM should be same as the original one or can I use the RAMs available by TeamGroup Elite, ADATA, Kingston, Crucial. etc. Please recommend the RAM company from the names given by me.

You can use 16 GB DDR4-3200 MHz memory chips in your notebook, and they will run at 2666 MHz because that is as fast as your notebook's processor can run the memory at.
A recommended 16 GB memory chip. Buy two.
The Crucial memory report indicates the above memory is compatible with your notebook:
Crucial 16GB DDR4-3200 SODIMM | CT16G4SFRA32A | Crucial IN

You're very welcome.
You would not be able to add additional storage to your notebook.
There is only support for one 2.5" hard drive and one M.2 NVMe SSD.
You could replace both drives and install ones having greater storage capacities, and you can replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive with a 2.5" SATA SSD.

The Crucial memory report for your notebook that I posted the other day indicates the memory is compatible.
The only way it will break your system is if you break your system taking it apart to install the memory by not following the correct procedure to do so that is listed in the service manual I posted.
I would imagine that Amazon has the best price for the memory, but feel free to shop around.

Hi Sir,
As per your recommendation, I bought the RAM which you had suggested. I ordered the same RAM in 2 quantities 16GB each.
One I have received is Crucial RAM which is Made in India, almost everything is same except the rank of RAM is dual here.
The other one I have received is Crucial RAM which is Made in Malaysia, almost everything is same except the rank of RAM is single here.
Currently I have installed both the RAMs in my notebook. I have placed the dual rank RAM in slot1 and single rank RAM in slot2. Is this installation correct? Tell me the correct installation if needed?
Will the difference in RAM ranks will affect the stability of notebook in future?

Hi:
It shouldn't make any difference as to the compatibility between the number of ranks.
The notebook is running and should continue to run fine the way you installed it because it also makes no difference regarding the memory slot you installed the memory in.

Hi Sir,
Thanks for confirming on RAM update.
One more question I have. It is regarding the storage drives. My notebook has a 1TB SATA HDD and 256GB SSD on which the Windows is preinstalled. Since I have been using it for past 4 years, my HDD is still having a lot of space left. But my 256GB SSD is almost full like nearly 40GB left. So I'm thinking to upgrade the SSD of my notebook by replacing the currently running one.
Please you only recommend the SSD of 1TB for my laptop which is compatible. If possible please share the links where to buy like Amazon links.
Also please share the procedure to successfully install the SSD with BIOS and Windows installed because by removing the current SSD Windows will be removed.
Thanks and Regards
