Hi Team,

I need to upgrade the RAM on my HP Pavilion 14 Laptop, wanted to confirm if we have an available slot for a RAM upgrade and compatible RAM for my Laptop. Currently, it has 16GB RAM installed, and can see both Slots have 8GB each installed. What is the maximum RAM upgrade possible?

Can I change RAM on both slots or only 1 Slot is replaceable?

Hi:

 

It depends on what model graphics adapter your notebook has.

 

If it has the Intel graphics, the notebook has two memory slots and should support 2 x 16 GB of memory.

 

If it has the Nvidia graphics adapter, it has one memory slot and can support 1 x 16 GB of memory.

 

HP only has the service manual for the older 14-dv1000 model series available.
