Thanks once more!
I see the USB SuperSpeed ports on page 5 of the manual, but not the specific 3.0 or 3.2 speed you referred to. I trust you on this one though. I wasn't aware they were going away from the color codes for the 3.0 speed as I still see them on non-HP docking stations and the like.
I also saw on page 2 where it states, Two SODIMM slots, not customer accessible or upgradeable supporting up to 16 GB of RAM (Intel Core processors). Both are on the right side. If I'm understanding correctly, there doesn't seem to be a need to increase the RAM since it's already at 16GB. Is that accurate, or is there still a benefit of increasing the RAM in this case based on my needs?
I apologize for the multiple replies but I am learning a lot and hope it helps others as well.

You're very welcome
The non customer accessible memory upgrade statement means HP wants memory upgrades to be performed by an authorized service center.
Most folks upgrade the memory themselves or upgrade it after the warranty expires.
If your notebook is running fine with 16 GB of memory installed, then there should be no reason to install more
