DV6-2155dx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone! I want to upgrade the amount of RAM in a notebook HP Pavilion dv6-2155dx to 8 GB total.

Few days ago I make 2 question in this forum:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/RAM-voltage-for-memory-upgrade...

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/RAM-Mhz-for-a-HP-Pavilion-dv6-...

After I receive the answers a bought a 4Gb DDR3 1333Mhz 1.5v PC3-10600 CL9 204-Pin SODIMM Kingston module KVR13S9S8/4 which doesnt work.

Here are the specs of the module:

https://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KVR13S9S8_4.pdf

If I enter the BIOS I see the 4 GB, but when windows try to boot, I can see the W10 logo and then the notebook reboot over and over again.

I been reading that maybe this notebook has a bios whitelist that could causing problems or that some RAM modules doesn't work with 1° gen i3 processor.
Is any of this possible? What do you all think?

Thanks in advance !!

BOTH answers did NOT mention Kingston RAM, why did you buy different RAM when people advised others ? Please go for Crucial RAM as mentioned on the first reply.

First, you don't need to answer in a disrespectful way, using caps and words in red.

Second, one of the answers said that my notebook support only 1066Mhz o 1333Mhz, but then he suggest me a 1600 Mhz Crucial module.

Third, I couldn't find the others modules they suggest in my country.
Fourth, I ended up buying one whit all the correct specifications DDR3, 1333Mhz, 4GB, PC 106000 and 1.5v. PC 10600.

Fifth, if you don't have nothing helpful to say, you shouldn't answer.

Any useful suggestions?.........
