Hello,
I want to upgrade the RAM on my HP laptop Pavilion G6 A1Z52EA.
Model: G6-1205sq
Can someone help me with the RAM types and maximum GB supported on this laptop?
I've searched on HP website & forum but I didn't find any related topics for this HP model.
Thank you,
Marius

Hi, Marius:
Your notebook uses DDR3-1333 MHz memory. It can be 1.5V or 1.35V.
Non-ECC, unbuffered.
The 1.35V memory can run at 1.5V.
Below is the link to the service manual...The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1. 2 x 4 GB is supported.

See if you can get this memory part number in Romania.
https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr3/ct51264bf160b/ct6939041
It is 1600 MHz memory, but it will 'downclock' or 'bridge' to 1333 MHz.

Hi Paul,
Thank you very much for your answer, you really help me a lot!
One remark from my side, you said that it can support 2 x 4 GB, but in the manual from the link you have shared it is mentioned that only max 6GB is supported. (see picture)
Can you please let me know which one of these options is true, the 2x4GB or the max 6GB?
