i currently have ADATA 2GB DDR3 1600Mhz CL11 SODIMM.... Memory Speed DDR3-1600 (800 MHz)....i want to upgrade to 4gb...2x2gb...does any ram stick will work with my adata or i should buy identical..same brand...speed...ect..
i found 2x 2GB DDR3 1333 10600S ...first one is adata .....second one is samsung...it says that they can work together...
any suggestions....

HI;
You can mix brands and whatnot, but they need to have the same specs.
You don't want to install PC3-10600 memory because it will run at a slower speed than your notebook can run the memory at.
You want DDR3-1600 (PC3-12800) memory. Just get a second 2 GB PC3-1600 memory chip that matches the specs of your first one.
I have zipped up and attached a free utility below that will give you the timing specs and other specs of the 2 GB memory chip you have now.
Then you can just get a second one with the same specs.

No, you cannot mix 1.5V and 1.35V memory. You want them to be the same...whichever the voltage is in your model now.
Yes, timing is important. Get one with the same timing specs too. Shouldn't be too hard to find a matching memory module.
The specs indicate you can use either 1.5V or 1.35V (see page 5 at the link below), but if you are only going to replace one memory module, then get one with the same voltage.
