Hey guys!
Been rocking out to this notebook (HP Pavilion x360-14-cd009la) for almost two years now and it's great, but currently I've been needing to use more memory taxing programs like Photoshop and Illustrator, but I also need Edge open for my work, so I definitely need to upgrade the RAM (the notebook came with 4GB of RAM), I'm just wondering if it is possible. I ran Crucial's scan and it couldn't find any suitable matches, my guess is that the "custom drivers" the notebook came with are interfering. So I don't even know if it's possible to upgrade the RAM.
Anyone got any response or tips?

Hi,
You can upgrade to 16GB of DDR4 2400MHz RAM (2x8GB) even if service manual mentions 12GB
I actually believe u can max at 32GB
Example of RAM
https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/pavilion-x360-14-cd0004la
On page 43 of service manual you can see the steps to install the RAM

You could also replace the Optane memory with a fast M2 PCIe NVMe SSD.
Hope it helps,
David
