Hi all,

I have a Notebook HP - 17-by0011ds with a standard 4GB Samsung 2400MHz RAM and I would like to upgrade the RAM to 16GB or more if possible but I do not know what type of memory unit is compatible with my laptop and I would like to know how much I can upgrade from my current 4gb.

I have already bought a 16GB memory but had to ship it back because it wasn't compatible. Anyone can please help me out with some useful links of compatible RAM to buy?

Your notebook only has one memory slot, and the max memory the slot can support is 1 x 8 GB.

Crucial 8GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM | CT8G4SFS824A | Crucial IT
