If you look at chapter 1, page 2 of the service manual I posted, you will see this:
1 or 2 customer-accessible/upgradable memory module slots (depending on model)
1 slot: DDR3-1333MHz Dual Channel Support (DDR3L-1600 downgraded to DDR3-1333)(Bay Trail
processors)
The Intel Pentium N3530 is a Bay Trail processor.
Intel® Pentium® Processor N3530
That is correct.
In order to install 8 GB of memory in your notebook, you will need to remove the 4 GB memory chip.

Hi:
Yes, you can replace the 4 GB memory chip with an 8 GB memory chip.
Notebooks with the Intel Pentium N3530 processors have one memory slot.
