Hello guys,
one pin of my rj45 port of my HP Pavilion 15-au146ng is broken off.
Now i search for the port in the web to replace it. But i cannot find the correct type. Maybe someone of you knows where to search or even got a link for me to the product.
Thanks and greetings,
Tobi

All standard RJ45 ports have SAME number of pins, there is NO different type. You may have to replace the whole System board and this will cost you an arm and a leg. The following option is one way to go
https://www.anker.com/ca/products/variant/aluminum-3port-usb-30-and-ethernet-hub/A7514041
You then get 2 more USB ports

Hello Banhien,
thank you for answering. I know these external USB Hubs with LAN port. My idea was to migrate the RJ45 port of a HP 650 to my HP Pavilion 15-au146ng. But obviously this won't fit. Clearly all RJ45 ports have the same number of pins, but from my perspective they differ in the outer case, that defines the dimension.
So good and easy solution, but i don't want a dead LAN port and use extern HUBs. I am also aware of the price of a new board, thus i want the RJ45 port for soldering.
Maybe someone of you knows what i mean and can help.
Greetings,
Tobi
