Hi.I have a hp pavilion 17 g7w65ea notebook
I would like to upgrade my ramsThe laptop has 4gb ram.
Can anyone advice what is the maximum ram that it can take?
How can I find the ram that works for it,that is compatible and will be compatible with the current rams?
I know that it has ddr3,I ran a test on cpu-z,looks to have two slots,in one slot has 4gb ram the second slot is empty.
Thank you

Here's the Manual:
Uses DDR3L-1600 SO-DIMM. The "L" means low voltage 1.35 volts not 1.5 volt. The memory @banhien recommended is the correct type.

Your machine is an HP Pavilion 17-f010sv. I can't find its specs and manuals for the HP Pavilion 17-f0xx series. But from a similar machine, which is an HP Pavilion 17-f037cl notebook
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04301880
which supports 16GB of RAM as shown
https://www.crucial.com/usa/en/compatible-upgrade-for/HP---Compaq/pavilion-17-f037cl
That means you can
- add 4GB more slot 2 to have 8GB
- or add 8GB more to to slot 2 to have 12GB
- or replace both slots with 8GB each.
Above link shows you compatible RAM. You can use above information to buy similar RAM
Regards.
