Hi, I am looking for ram upgradation for my laptop. currently it has hynix 8gb  running  in single channel and its expandable to 16gb. however Iam confused if my motherboard supports dual channel or not , Could anyone please let me know what sort of ram should i go with.

According to the service manual (on page 2), your Intel Core i5 processor-based model comes with two memory slots supporting 16 GB (2x8 GB) DDR3L-1600 memory.

If you currently have an 8 GB in one slot, you can install another 8 GB DDR3L-1600 module in the second slot.
