I want to upgrade my laptop ram from 4gb ddr4 to 16gb gb ddr4. I am not sure about the frequency of ram. I bought this laptop in Dec '19. I want to know the maximum amount of ram that can be installed in this laptop. Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Hi:

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.  The memory upgrade info can be found in chapter 1.

2 x 8 GB is supported.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06510442

The fastest speed the memory can run in your notebook is 2133 MHz., but 2400 MHz will work fine.  It will just downclock to 2133 MHz.
