Pavilion 14-ce2074nl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm going to purchase the pavilion 14-ce2074nl notebook, but before I need to know one important thing:

It has 8 gb ddr4 ram installed, enough for me now, but in the future, as an engineering student, it could be necessary to install a 16 gb module to run "heavier" softwares. I know it has only ONE slot, but does it support 16 gb?

Yes the Service Manual acknowledges that it can take a single 16 gig module of DDR4-2666 SO-DIMM:

It's me again.

One more doubt: the manual says it has one SODIMM slot (so, I think, it's not soldered), but it also states "non-user-accessible/non-upgradable".

What does it mean?

Maybe my 8-gb memory module is not removable, even if my pc supports 16 gb...

Does it mean it is accessible and upgradable only by qualified technicians?

Yes but we have clarification from HP that warranty cannot be voided just because you open the case for memory or storage or wireless upgrade. As long as you do not damage and of course HP will not warranty any parts you add in.
