Hi,
I am back again. So I will repeat what I have already told you. The service manual mentions 16GB of RAM (this is the max any model in that series could have been bought with). Your PC will support 32GB of DDR4 RAM (2x16GB). Many Members have tried with success. So the actual max for your notebook is 32GB.
HP DDR4 systems with 7th 8th gen Intel Core processors will run with 32GB.
Hope it helps,
David
