Hi.  I have a HP Notebook Product Number W2M98UA#ABA 

 

Does anybody know if this is ram upgradeable?  (It currently has 6 gb ram)

HP Notebook - 17-x051nr (ENERGY STAR) Product Specifications | HP® Support

 

Your notebook supports 2 x 8 GB of memory.

 

See chapter 1 of the service manual for the memory upgrade information:

It appears to me that something is amiss...the product specs indicate your notebook uses DDR3L1600 memory, but the parts list indicates that HP installed DDR4-2133 MHz memory.

 

HP PartSurfer

 

Run this free utility that I zipped up and attached below and it will tell you the type and speed of the memory HP installed.

 

Then you can buy the right type of memory your notebook uses.
