The amount of RAM is based on what CPU you have in the notebook.

Max RAM for your notebook is 32GB of DDR4 2400MHz (2x16GB) even if service manual mentions 16GB

At the moment you have one 8GB module and one empty slot. So you could insert an extra 8GB in the empty slot which should be enough. You can insert faster RAM whic will run at 2400MHz.

You should also consider replacing the Hard Drive with an SSD which would give a great boost in the everyday performance of the notebook (probably a lot more noticable than the extra RAM)
