It's definitely not because of the usage. I bought mines new out of the box and that's one of the first things I noticed.

@Oesdiva84 To resolve issues such as Fan is Noisy,

Although, what kind of noise is it? did you compare it with another laptop? can we have a video recording to identify if that's normal or if its an issue?

  • Updating your Notebook computer BIOS
  • Increasing the efficiency of the notebook to reduce heat
  • Using Windows Task Manager to identify corrupt processes
  • Selecting power save settings to shut off your computer when it is not in use

The noise is like a whistle. It goes from low to high randomly. Sounds like a jet taking off. Or like a vacuum. 

Yes I have compared it. I have three other laptops, 2 Dells and 1 MacBook. This is the noisiest computer I have ever owned since 2006!

@Oesdiva84 I suggest you talk to HP support and discuss your options, follow the below steps to get started:

 

1) Click on this link - http://www.hp.com/contacthp/

2) Click on Sign-in or select the product using the below step:

3) Enter the serial of your device.

4) Select the country from the drop-down.

5) Click on "Show Options".

Fill the web-form, to populate a case number and phone number for yourself!
