@50blue, Welcome to HP Support Community,

Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

Remove All Current Bluetooth Drivers

Press Win + XDevice Manager

Expand Bluetooth

Right-click every Realtek Bluetooth entry → Uninstall device

Check Delete the driver software for this device

Repeat until no Realtek Bluetooth item remains

Restart the PC

This clears the bad version that breaks sleep.

Install the Correct OEM Driver (Not Windows Update’s Version)

Download ONLY from this page for your exact model:

HP ENVY Desktop TE01-5000i → Driver-Bluetooth
Install:

Realtek RTL8xxx Series Bluetooth Driver (for Windows 11)

After installation, restart.

Stop HP Support Assistant From Loop-Offering the Same Driver

Open HP Support Assistant

Go to Settings → Health Analysis and Updates

Turn OFF:

“Automatically check for updates” (temporary)

“Show me updates from my manufacturer when available”

Close HPSA

Reopen → Refresh updates

If the Bluetooth update still appears → click Ignore Update

Now HPSA will stop requesting the same file over and over.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.
