Product: Pavilion x360 m Convertible Model 14 cd0003dx

I bought an Pavilion convertible in 2018.  Just over a year (after warranty was up) I noticed a hinge issue.  I consider it light use not even daily. and never dropped or mishandled. Now I see the is a pervasive problem with HP with numerous posts on the web.  Is there a recall?? I love this product but it is too the point where I am nervous to even move the device as  to not have it completely fall apart..  Does HP even care about this issue?  I would have serious issues purchasing another product from HP if this was not addressed.  Please help.
