About 2 years ago I had my laptop serviced by HP. They shipped me the box, I sent it to them and they serviced it. They changed like the USB ports, fixed the LCD screen and other things. But I need some kind of receipt or list of work done. I can't seem to contact HP support directly so I need help to figure out how I can get this list I need. Thanks

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

In my experience, HP sends back a "Work completed" document with the repaired device. If you still have the shipping carton and / or the paperwork that accompanied the computer when it was returned to you, check there.
You might have received a communication via email from HP that included details -- this is less likely than having been sent a paper document in the box.
HP likely keeps receipts for all warranty service performed, though the full details may -- or may not -- be available.
I will ask that you be contacted by an agent.
Please be aware of the following:

Agent response times vary widely depending on work load and request content.
Once the request is escalated to HP, it is out of our sphere -- that is, our community forum does not have any direct contact with internal HP nor can we influence how the request is handled.
Look for a response in perhaps four days.
