I bought a new hp notebook 14 with product number 9R8T2UAR#ABA. I don't know it is new or refurbished. In warranty support it mentions expired and refrbd us laptop. Whether it is a grey market product or a refurbished. What means factory refurbished

As I wrote yesterday, I have given you all the info I can.
Obviously, the PC was previously owned, returned to HP for one reason or another, refurbished by HP, and resold.
The fact that the PC was refurbished does not necessarily mean that it was returned for a product defect or malfunction.
Someone may have just decided they didn't want the PC because of the color, or that it didn't have a backlit keyboard or a Wi-Fi 7 adapter, or they couldn't upgrade the processor to a better one.
That's all you're ever going to find out.
If you're not happy with the PC, see if you can return it to the seller.

The second 'R' in the 9R8T2UAR product number means that the PC was refurbished by HP.
The non-refurbished product number shows up in the HP PartSurfer database.
The refurbished product number does not.
That causes me some concern because if the notebook was refurbished by HP, the 9R8T2UAR should have also shown up in the HP PartSurfer database.
I recommend that you enter the notebook's serial number in the PartSurfer database to make sure the notebook shows up that way.
If it does, then there shouldn't be anything to be overly concerned about other than there is no warranty on the notebook unless the seller provided one.
Since this is a peer to peer forum and we don't work for or represent HP, that would be all the info I can provide.
