Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
HP 1000-1310LA Notebook PC
Model #: C7B24LA

This computer was originally sold in Colombia, SA.

My display has a line going down the length of it, and I suppose it can't be fixed, but must be replaced.  What model number computer sold in US and what part number can I use on Ebay to identify the CORRECT part for this computer?

I'll be having it shipped to Ecuador, where I am currently, so definitely want to make sure I am buying to correct part.  Thanks!

Hi, thanks for the reply,

When I needed to replace a keyboard, I was able to obtain the proper part code for the English version of my computer, through this forum. I was hoping that I could do the same for the display, without needing to contact support, esp. because my computer is out of warranty.

Can you tell me which laptop sold in the US is exactly the same one I have, that is called HP 1000 Notebook PC?  Then I can figure out how to find the proper display on ebay.

Please let me know if you can find the code for me.

Thanks!
