Hello everyone ,
So , is it possible to replace the HDD for this laptop with an SSD harddrive?
If so then what is the best choice for an SSD-harddrive?
Has my mainboard an empty slot for M2.SSD ?
If so then what is the best M2.SSD can i have ?
And how can i transport the "recovery partition" -where the manufacture setting and original win 10 set - from the old one to the new SSD?
Thank u all ...

Its specs
Machine support SINGLE storage but it may have a slot for Optane (a).
1. You can replace 2TB of existing HDD to 2TB of 2.5" SATA SSD using standard 2.5" SSD, for example
https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/870-evo-1tb-sata-3-2-5-ssd-mz-77e1t0bw/
2. As mentioned above (a), it MAY have M.2 slot for Optane. Because the series does not support dual storage therefore the only thing to know is to open the machine to find out.

Thank you for the information,,
Do you have any idea about the last part of my post?
I mean about moving the "recovery partition" which made by hp and which contains the windows 10 and the manufacturer settings . It's important to move these from the old HDD to the new SSD.
Thank you ...

I have replaced the HDD of my old HP laptop with a 256GB SSD. First, you may clone your existing HDD to your new SSD using any standard software. After cloning is done, take out the old HDD and fit it in the new SSD. It will work perfectly. You can also partition your new SSD as per your need. Just ensure that size of the new SSD is equal or more than the existing HDD. Hope this helps.
