HP Pavilion - 15z-cw100 CTO

This PC overheats almost constantly. I tried applying thermal paste to the CPU (which is connected to a heatsink, not a fan), cleaning the interior and vents with compressed air, choosing energy-saving power schemes; nothing works. I would like to try replacing the cooling fan (located near the copper heat sink).

Thanks very much Paul!
I replaced the fan and the notebook is running 30° - 40° C cooler, a huge improvement.
The replacement fan is also much quieter (probable evidence that the OEM fan was malfunctioning). Regards, Vincent
