So my HP Pavilion x360 m3-u001dx started saying there was no HDD installed when powered on. I removed the HDD and put it into an external enclosure and it works flawlessly in my desktop. I inspected the motherboard and found corrosion where the HDD flex cable plugs onto the motherboard. I already cleaned it all out but I am having a hard time finding a new flex cable because 2 of the copper strands are broken, presumably the corrosion ruined the cable. Any idea where I can get a replacement SATA sable? I cant find an exact match and there is no part number on this one. Thanks.
