Hello! The battery in my two-year-old Envy laptop is failing, and HP no longer sells replacement batteries. The original battery part number is 800009-421, and the sticker says to replace with HP Spare 800049-001. I see batteries on Amazon with that number, but the supported models listed are all Pavilions, not Envys. Nothing seems to have this particular model or product number. Any advice on the type/model of battery that should work (and/or things to avoid) would be much appreciated. Thanks!

The link to the parts store is no longer available. Also, I have only had mine for three years and the battery is completely dead. It is ridiculous that your company doesn’t make products that last for a decent amount of time and especially that your company doesn’t sell the replacement parts.
