Microsoft Windows 11

Bought an original HP  replacement battery for my Pavilion 15cw0999nb laptop but thuis one does notebook charge with the original power adapter. Only the white charging LED is blinking and battery capacity stays at 3%.

So I installed the old battery again and this one charges like before.

I have been reading on these forums I should do an update from the laptop BIOS, but I don’t know how to do.

Can somebody help with some detailed step by step instructies?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Bart
