In May of 2022 you replaced my charger, because it quit working after 5 months.  Now, 8-1/2 months later,  the second charger has stopped working.  I think it's fair to say that these chargers are all defective, and are not lasting.  Any chance you will replace the 2nd one that now stopped working, since that charger hasn't lasted but 8-1/2 months?  I've been a regular HP customer over the years, and have never had an issue until this model.  Thank you, Barbara Morris

Hi @Barbie28311

You would probably be better served if you contacted HP directly.

This is the HP  Community forum where peer members help peers.

I note that your notebook has an expired warranty. You will likely have to replace it out of pocket.

I suggest buying a surge protector to use with the power adapter this time.

thank you for your response, and yeah, I know they will probably tell me too bad,, even though they know they have a defective product.   2 chargers in 13-1/2 months means they know they are no good.  And I do have it already in a surge suppressor, and have since I bought it.   Myself and my husband have had HP laptops for several years, and have never had an issue until these.
