I want to order a 150w charger for my omen 17 exact modely
may i be provided with the chargers model i should order which is compatible with my laptop

Fabulous description and superb diagnosis of the issue before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂
First off, to assist you better, I would require more information regarding this:
- Did you check the product specs list and the service guide to see if the if the computer supports a 150 W adapter?
.For now please try these steps:
- Please visit the service guide link: and refer to page 5. It will give you information on the type of AC adapter supports the different processors of the computer.
- Based on that please refer to page 26 to check if the adapter that is supported is compatible with your computer. The part#, specifications and other information are provided for your reference.
- Also, you will need to order a power cord for the same as well.
- Please check the product specifications of the computer from this link: http://hp.care/2tx6opX
- The computer comes with an I7 processor. And the 150 W adapter should be supported.
To order the adapter, please contact HP technical support by following these steps.
HP Technical Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: http://hp.care/2r9wSvP
- Once the support page opens please select the country in which you're located. Next, enter your HP model number on the right.
- Next, choose the 'Contact Support' tab at the top and scroll down to the bottom of the 'HP Support- Contact' page to fill out the form provided with your contact information.
- Once completed click the 'Show Options' icon on the bottom right.
- Lastly, scroll down to the bottom of the page and select 'Get phone number.' A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
They will be happy to assist you immediately.
Please perform all these steps patiently as it is critical to resolving the issue. The trick is to remain patient, Going by your technical expertise and competence I am sure you will be able to perform these steps without breaking a sweat. 🙂
