hi i spilled some E-Liquid on my touchpad for my HP Beats 15 Notebook PC p030nr about a year ago and the warranty expired long before that, and it caused the touch pad to go bad and the sticky stuff holding it down to stop sticking on oneside, well when i tried to clean it up the other side was still sticking tight on it and the ribbon connector on the touchpad itself broke off and the sticky adhesive has long since lost its adhesiveness,so my question is does hp sell a replacement kit for this notebook alone, the keyboard itself is fine(not in a complete replacement that includes the keyboard),i know it probably will cost more because my warranty is up,and i would like to find out if they sell it ad how much the kit would cost before going to geek squad at bestbuy,i am currently using an External usb wireless mouse.
here are some pictures of what im talking about:
Adhesive plate(black plastic Part over Metal)
Synaptics Touchpad Back (damaged)
Synaptics Touchpad Front(beats Audio)

You need this part:
TouchPad board with bracket and cable for AMD computers using Beats Audio 781769-001
Warranty was never going to cover a liquid spill so don't worry aboout that you just need to get this part and replace it. I am assuming you did not damage the place where the ribbon cable clips into the motherboard.
Geek Squad at Best Buy would charge an arm and a leg for this repair and likely would send it off to a shop who knows where. You obviously got the touchpad board out of the laptop and you can get the new one in I assume.
See p. 99 of the Manual if you need help.
Post back with any more questions and please accept as solution if this is the answer you needed.

do u know if hp sells replacement parts for this on their website or should i call them? also i dont trust e-bay,can u see if amazon has this part?also i know that the connector on the motherboard is fine, when i went to tclean the e-liquid i ended up bending the circuit board back slightly and im assuming that the solder on the connector came loose, already checked the mainbord.
