HP Pavilion 15-ck003nl

Greetings,

I have eyed the HP Pavilion 15-ck003nl, and I am considering buying it. I have an important question: I will surely have to change the HDD for an SSD, and I will consider upgrading the 4GB Ram module to an 8GB module in the future. I am pretty confident on my ability of opening a laptop, as I have already done it before.

Will I have to void the warranty with this particular model?

Thank you for your answer.

Hi,

Upgrading RAM and Hard drive is an accepted practice and will not void warranty as long as you do not break anything in the process.

Here is service manual:

Here are also videos for remove/replace provided for your model which is similar to the cc000 series

The official RAM capacity is 16GB (2x8GB), however HP DDR4 systems will run with 32GB of RAM (2x16GB) so that would be the actual max,

Hope it helps,

David
