Hallo,
I have a HP Spectre x360 13-4001ng laptop with a defective QHD screen (2560 x1440).
Since the laptop is out of service at HP I am looking for a spare screen for the laptop in Internet. and have found one FHD screen (1920 x 1080).
My question: Can I replace my QHD screen ( 2560 x 1440) with a FHD screen (1920 x1080)?
Note: Although according to HP maintenance and service manual the screen part numbers for QHD and FHD screens for Spectre X360 are 801495-001 and 801496-001 (different) but at the same time in the same manual both screens are documented to be suitable for HP Spectre X360 models ranging from 13-14001 through 13-14099.
If I am reading it correctly, this would mean that both screens are interchangeable within that range of Spectre models.
Is this assumption correct?
Comments from you side would be most welcome.
Thanks and best regards
