I am considering upgrading (replacing) my non-backlit keyboard with a back-lit keyboard.
HP Pavillion 17-g146ds
Can anyone verify if that upgrade is an option for me with this model?
Thank you -
Jack

Backlit keyboard alone won't work. You need a new motherboard/systemboard which has all connectore of keyboard lights. This would be a very expensive upgrade.
