Hi, I have an HP 15s-eq2021nv (3T130EA). Can anyone confirm whether the bare keyboard can be removed and replaced by itself, or if it is heat-staked/riveted to the palmrest?
A technician told me no melting or cutting is needed, but I can’t find the exact service manual for this model.

According to this keyboard replacement video for a 15s-eq series model, a keyboard is plastic-riveted to the top cover, but it appears to be replaceable.

See the parts list below for your model.

Scroll down to 'Unknown keyword' which reads: TOP COVER nFPR W/KB (Keyboard) NSV (Natural Silver) GK(Greek). 

 

Since the keyboard doesn't have its own HP part number, I'm not sure how you can get a right replacement keyboard if you are contemplating just replacing the keyboard.
