  • Upgradeable to 16384MB with optional 8192MB SODIMMs in slots 1 and 2
Dual-channel
  • Maximized dual-channel performance requires SODIMMs of the same size and speed in both memory slots

Your question is confusing because you are mixing different terms ...

 

Memory is "system memory" and that consists of memory cards inserted into the laptop.  That would be 4GB up to (maybe) 16GB, but certainly not 500GB.

 

The 500GB you mention is "disk space", not "memory".

 

So, which is it you are really trying to increase, system memory or disk space?
