My stepson accidentally plugged in a reverse polarity charger to my trusty Envy. The laptop is dead, does not respond to the power button and does not show an amber charge LED when I plug in the correct charger.
So, the questions are:
1. does this device have any protection against reverse polarity built in?
2.are there any modular components that I might be able to replace?
3. Any other suggestions?
Thank you,
Erik.
