Hi,
I have a HP Pavilion 15-CC107NT laptop, and I am not satisfied with its Seagate ST1000LX015 SSHD's performance, and want to install a M.2 NVMe SSD.
So, I asked HP about whether I myself can open up the laptop and install it without my warranty ending up being void, they said you can, but be careful.
So, I looked up some manuals, and videos from HP about how to remove base enclosure of the laptop, and saw that you need to remove rubber feet to unscrew the hidden screws. And I didn't see any guide on how to put back them. So my question might be a silly one but, do those rubber feet have sticky sides that don't get deformed after being removed, so they can be easily put back in their place; or do I have to use some tool like a glue to put them back?

Hi,
You do not need to completely remove the rubber feet, you can peel them back a little to get to the screw under them and when finished stick them back in place, they are sticky enough to be placed back.
On page 38 of service manual you can see where the holes are so that you only need to peel the feet back slightly.
