Hi. I have an Envy x360 laptop which I bought through a PC World store. After taking it in to have an issue looked at, the rubber feet wouldn't stay attached. I did try to re-affix them but one of them has since got lost. I contacted KnowHow, who apparently don't stock the part but have agreed to reimburse me if I buy it myself. I now have the issue that I can't find anywhere to buy the part.
I located the product number for the feet, "L19600-001", in the service manual. HP PartPicker shows this up as an existing part in the database, but with no option to purchase it. Other websites which claim to sell them are suspect at best.
I just tried to speak to somebody on the Live Chat, but managed to be redirected to the US support. Even now the website says I'm in the US region support community. It's apparently completely impossible to speak to a human being from HP UK support.
Can someone please tell me how I can get replacement feet for my laptop?

Hi
There are 57 models that take that part... http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=799929-001
AND bad news... HP Resellers only...

hi, just to clarify- does that mean I can only buy them from a reseller, or if I am a reseller? The former wouldn't matter, but if it's the latter I'll have to pass the information on to knowhow.
thanks for the help!

Hi
Personally I neither know nor need to know, as I would suggest that if I can "KnowHow" them so easily, so can 'KnowHow' and complete the 'repair' fully and avoid your having to expend any readies and actually learn something themselves.

sorry, I naively assumed that you knew what "...HP Resellers only..." actually meant, since you said it yourself and labeled it as "bad news". My apologies for thinking you actually knew the meaning of the dozen words you'd just typed.
If you intend to help people, it would benefit you to know that "knowhow" isn't a verb. It's the insurance and tech support division at Currys/PC World/ Dixons Carphone. They're licensed to do repairs on most major brands mobile including Apple, Google and Samsung.
It seemed to the correspondent, as it did to me, silly to send off an entire laptop for repair so that the feet could be replaced. It would be a waste of their time and mine- the laptop is, after all, fully functional.

Mate
I shop very rarely in Currys and have little faith in them, this lappy was bought after looking at their stock and going across the road to Argos. Although I did buy from them once upon a time.
Currys handle their warranty claims solely, they do not use HP as their second line.
You but a HP from Currys and HP do not 'give' a warranty.
My point is 2 parts,
Why could they not have done that, as a licenced repairer, needing you to source them.
Once you or a 3rd effect a repair then Warranty claims become a He said/She said/They said.
My view that they could enter the Turner Prize as Bodge Artists is best left unsaid.
And as you you seem to be in the UK your Warranty is for 2 years under EU law.
