SD Card driver available for unsupported HP Split 13 x2?

Hey there! My question is about a unsupported HP Split 13-m110br x2 PC, specifically about an unfunctional SD Card reader. When I insert the SD card at the slot, a notification says ""Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed)", or "(Port Reset Failed)". The SD Card is readable in another device, so I suppose that's a hardware/driver issue. Already uninstalled and reinstalled the current driver, but unsuccessfully. I tried to find the driver on HP Support, but  as I said, the device support had expired.  Could you help me guys? Anyone to provide me a compatible driver please? Thanks!

Hey Banlix, thanks for your prompt response! Although the provided HP Split 13 x2 driver looked compatible as described on specifications, unfortunately it still wasn't recognized, Maybe a unfunctional SD Card slot?

It could be because of your laptop hardware, or also because of the USB controller driver.

Open Device Manager to make sure it is installed or not.

There is also my favorite third party software called DriverEasy Pro to see the latest drivers.

The Realtec SD driver is perfectly installed, but curiously when I insert the SD Card into the slot, the notification is shown at USB Controllers as a USB device, not at Memory Technology Device where the SD driver is installed. Is it normal?

If the SDCard can be read, it means it's okay.
