Hi all!

SSD M2 nvme APACER AS2280P2 don’t work on my HP 14 ce0067ur.

The disk is not visible in disk Manager. In forums I read, that SSD nvme must work. The problem in specific model SSD or something need to do?

The problem is solved. As a result of contacting HP technical support, the answer was to use original HP modules and contact the service center. The service center said that the modules other companies need to try. According to their information, Samsung modules will not work. In my experience, Apacer modules also do not work with this laptop.

Yes the Manual indicates a PCIe/NVME M.2 will work even on the models with the lower-end Pentium Gold CPU such as yours.

Do you still have the original 1 TB 5400 rpm hard drive in the machine? Setting up an M.2 SSD is much easier if it is the onlt disk in the computer.

Yes, the original 1 TB hard drive in the machine, But it's very slow. I purchased a 120GB SSD M.2 drive Apacer AS2280P2 [AP120GAS2280P2-1], but it is not visible in the system. What do I need to do? What is ontlt disk?

Do I have to unplug the original hard drive?  Please help! Tomorrow is my daughter's birthday, I wanted to give her a gift,  and now on the table is a disassembled laptop.

Yes put it back together and leave the hard drive out for now until you get it working with the SSD. Do you have a way to reinstall Windows? You can download a thumb drive installer from the Microsoft Media Creation Tool site. Needs no Key Code will just activate.

I did it yesterday. I took out the disk, rebooted the computer with the inserted flash drive, which is created with  Media creation tool, But at installation the system did not see SSD and demanded the disk driver.

That should not be the case. I have installed Samsung M.2 SSDs in many HP laptops. Have you confirmed that the "original HP modules" actually work?

HP support answer: as for the upgrade of your computer - you need to do it in the service center, there the engineer can tell you about whether it is suitable or not.
We can only recommend the parts described in the document, i.e. Yes, not all are suitable

Information about Samsung is received from the engineer of the service center. And it is only about modules SSD NVME.

The fact that the Apacer  does not work, I checked personally. The engineer of the service center suggested that I go to the store and try all the modules until some do not work.

The original HP modules are listed on page 68 of the service manual.
