Hello,
What are the specifications and maximum size of the SSD storage for the laptop?
Is there a motherboard diagram (84D3 91.24) with an explanation of the components or a complete list of the technical specifications of the interfaces and connectors?
Serial Nr: 5CG8483VV6
I couldn't find anything useful about the SSD.
Thanks!

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual which is the only document available.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP 17 Laptop PC
Notebooks with the AMD Ryzen processors such as yours support both NVMe and SATA SSD's.
The SSD slot is PCIe Gen 3.0.
A Gen 4.0 NVMe SSD will work, but it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from the Gen 3 slot.
The drive capacities listed in the manual are just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.
Theoretically, there is no limit to the storage capacity of a NVMe SSD you can install as long as the drive is single-sided so it fits in the slot.
A M.2 SATA SSD would probably be limited to 2 TB.
