That model drive should work just fine.

 

You are aware that you would have to replace the 2.5" mechanical hard drive to install a 2.5" SATA drive, correct?

Have you thought about going with a M.2 NVMe SSD instead?

 

They are much faster than SATA and according to the manual, your notebook has a M.2 slot that supports NVMe SSD's.

You're very welcome.

 

Unfortunately, all M.2 hold down screws are not the same length.

 

However, the service manual lets you know what size you need.

 

If you look at chapter 5, page 39, the manual provides the screw size.

 

Phillips M2.0×3.0

 

So what that means is you need a Philips M2 (2.0mm diameter, x 3.0mm length screw.
