Hello!
Appreciate expert opinion on upgrading my HP Spectre x360 13-ac0XX from 500GB to 1TB SSD (max supported).
I found the below SSDs --

2) WD_Black SN750 1TB NVMe Internal Gaming SSD - Gen3 PCIe, M.2 2280, 3D NAND - WDS100T3X0C

3) WD Blue SN550 1TB NVMe Internal SSD - Gen3 x4 PCIe 8Gb/s, M.2 2280, 3D NAND, Up to 2,400 MB/s - WDS100T2B0C

Which ones can I upgrade to? Which one would you recommend?
thank you!

Thank you for the information.
I recommend you use the HP tested SSD on the computer. Below is the part number for the same. However, you can install any SSD on the computer of your choice and all the SSDs you have listed are good.

I will check the HP recommended SSD as well.
Some of the SSDs come with heatsink. Will a SSD with or without heatsink work on my laptop? Is either one recommended?
What is the process for changing SSD? Do I need to do a backup? How do I get Windows 10 re-installed? I do not have a CD/DVD drive nor do I remember receiving a Windows 10 CD.
thank you!

You can install an SSD with or without the heat sink and both will work.
To reinstall the operating system you can use the HP cloud recovery tool.
Refer to the below article for detailed steps.
