Hi,

 

I have HP Pavilion x360 convertible 14 ba078tx laptop with i7 processor, 8 gb ram and 1TB HDD. I just want to know can i use M.2 SSD with 1TB HDD at same time. As per user manual and diagram both slot at different position.

 

or need to remove  or replace 1TB HDD to use SSD option. Kindly help with available option

I do feel that you need to remove the 1TB HDD to use the M.2 SSD option. 

It doesn't look like it can fit 2 at once.

 

Clarification from an HP Expert will help.

As per manual it says that i can use Dual Storage configurations.

 

TLCFor use on all computer models:●
512-GB, M.2 SATA solid-state drive with TLC●
256-GB, M.2 SATA solid-state drive●
128-GB, M.2 SATA solid-state drive
Support for M.2 SATA solid-state drive (support for storage function, port 1; not available on computer models equipped with an Intel Pentium processor)

 

Dual storage configurations:
1-TB, 5400-rpm, 7.2-mm hard drive with 128-GB solid-state drive with TLC
500-GB, 5400-rpm, 7.0-mm hard drive with 128-GB solid-state drive with TLC

 

Solid-state hard drive configurations:
1-TB, 5400-rpm, 7.2-mm solid-state hard drive with 8-GB NAND
500-GB, 5400-rpm, 7.0-mm solid-state hard drive with 8-GB NAND
