Hi, I have a HP Pavilion 14-ce1510sa; Product no: 6AR53EA; Serial No: 5CD91964BT
Max capacity: 16777216 = 16GB; Right now I have 8GB
My computer makes way too loud fan noise. I believe it's due to the lack of storage. Please suggest an affordable yet best SSD (I have an SSD raid right now). Also regarding the additional memory.
Thank you for your time and consideration!

Hi:
Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates your notebook has one memory slot and the max memory the slot can support is 1 x 16 GB of DDR4-2400 CL17 memory.
This would be a recommended 16 GB memory chip for your notebook:
The memory will automatically bridge to 2400 MHz because that is as fast as your notebook's processor can run the memory at.
You can replace the 128 GB M.2 SATA SSD with a better performing NVMe SSD having a greater storage capacity.
You didn't mention how much you wanted to increase the storage by, but here is a link to a recommended 500 GB NVMe SSD.
You can go higher or lower if you want.

Thank you. So, does it mean that I take my 8GB RAM out and replace it with the 16GB RAM? Do I have to do anything before replacing it?
Before replacing the SSD, I wanted to complete this Microsoft Windows 11 download page , but I encountered this all the time. It doesn't show me an option to choose USB.
Thank you for your time.

You're very welcome.
Yes, all you need to do is to remove the 8 GB memory chip and install the 16 GB memory chip.
Nothing else you need to do there.
The only suggestion I can offer would be to delete any unnecessary files on the hard drive so you can do whatever it is you want to do on the W11 download page.
Run the Windows disk cleanup utility and then when the window opens, click on the cleanup system files button on the bottom left side of the window.
The utility will run again and when the window reappears, check all of the boxes to delete the files.
Your 128 GB drive must really be full.
There is another free disk cleanup utility that you can use that I use on all of my PC's.
Wise Disk Cleaner - Free Disk Cleanup and Defrag Tool
I combine the basic and advanced cleaner tools by checking the box and then use the system slimming section to get rid of other junk files.
I run this app once a week along with the Windows disk cleanup app.
Hopefully, the combination of those utilities will free up enough space for you.
