I had a lookon the  net for yr laptop, I could only find Pavilion - 15-ec1010ax.  Nevertheless the Crucial compatibility app doesn't list either yr model or this one,  I suggest you contact Crucial via their chat facility and see if you can get help there.

 

Having been down this path with Crucial/HP before, in the end the the SSD drive wasn't compatible (HP issue),  What I did was the verify that the Sata slot was okay by connecting a std HDD drive, proving the connection was okay, secondly I connected the crucial drive to another system which proved the drive was okay.  A load of bull from HP it fundamnetally came down to the fact that the HP system couldn't take the crucial drive - there was a considerable amount of dialoguie with both Crucial & HP before this conclusion was reached.

 

Patience and perseverence is required!

 

Hopefully Crucial/HP will be more fruitful, a yr system is considerably newer that the one I was upgrading.

I also looked up yr HP laptop and couldn’t find yr model, I did find HP Pavilion - 15-ec1010ax.  I looked up the Crucial compatibility app and couldn’t find either yr model or the one above.  You may wish to go onto the Crucial compatibility chat facility and double check with them. I had a recent issue with a crucial ssd and a HP laptop where I couldn’t get the SSD recognised.  I verified that the Sata slot was okay as HDDs were recognised, I also tested the SSD on another system which proved the SSD was okay.  In the end HP admitted that the system was not SSD compatible. I mention this, as those checks proved to me that it wasn’t the sata slot, or the SSD at fault, it was HP.  You may wish to do the same checks; in conjunction with contacting Crucial – HP are not much help I have found.

Sir, Actually after installing SSD and windows in it worked perfectly fine for 4,5 months . and suddenly this happened. I tried to ask for HP engineer but they are saying that for only hardware problems  engineer will be assign. laptop is under warranty.
