LEAVING MY 500GB HDD I WANT TO INSTALL A SECOND SAMSUNG EVO860 500GB SDD IN A CADDY, I CAN USE THIS LAST AS A SYSTEM DISK FOR WIN8.1

Sorry for jumping in. I can't find SL but SA, its specs

SL should be the same, only on different market. It has SuperMulti DVD±R/RW with double layer support. You can use this bay for 2.5" drive with a caddy.
BUT, put SSD to this bay is not a good idea (and may NOT boot) because the controller for ODD's is normally slower than the SSD itself. My suggestion put SSD to HDD bay and move old HDD to ODD bay (inside a caddy) for storage.

Once again, looking at the specs I could find, it does not show it having any kind of "caddy" slot but instead only a Media Reader Card slot.
If you're talking about putting a drive into an external drive case and want to boot Windows from that -- you can't.
