Its specs
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06502604
It has 256 GB Intel® SSD which contains Optane + 256GB of M.2 NVMe SSD on a single piece of hardware. What are you trying to do ?
- Replace it to to increase storage
- Replace it due to hardware failed.
For a, Intel has 1TB H20 now, you can use to replace its 256GB
For b, it doesn't matter, you can replace it with any standard M.2 NVMe SSD.
You can also use

Thank you so much for your prompt reply. I know nothing about the SSD or M2 drives. I have already dismantled this pc, and I thought I was going to find a card size sata card size solid drive in this pc. I have changed those out. The Optane drive was bad corrupt; couldn't reset, system restore, and then it just locked up. Disabling the Octane drive seems too much for me. So what are my options now? Buy a refurbished Optane drivee and reassemble, and restore the Win 10 OS with my thumb drive? I respect your knowledge and would ask if replacing with a rebuilt Optane drive, where is a good site to purchase one. Thanks so much.

It really seems I made a mistake by disassembling the HP dy1023dx and removing the Optane card. It has no sata SSD slot it appears to me. So is this laptop toast now? Or as I asked previously, can I buy a refurbished Optane drive, reinstall it, and then reinstall Win 10 from my thumb drive?

Forgive my lack of knowledge in replacing the Optane PCI Express NVM 250 GB NAND in my HP 15-dy1023dx laptop. This PC does not have a SATA SSD. only a M.2 slot. This Optane SSD is corrupt, has no info/data on it that I want to keep. And as I said I have already disassembled the laptop and removed the Optane NVM 250GB NAND. It has one slot in it,5 pins from the slot. I am confused about when I replace the Optane drive with a regular 250 GB M2 SSD, do I have to manipulate the BIOS. I am not very knowledgeable about working with the BIOS. Do I simply install the new M.2 drive, reinstall the battery, close the case, connect the power, install my USB with my WIN 10 64 OS and the pc will boot and reinstall the OS? Or do I have to some how go into the BIOS (F9?) and make changes? Sorry for troubling you with my lack of understanding. My first time for changing out a M.2 SSD. The Optane drive has me confused. Thank you again for any help.
