My SSD is showing a smaller space than is available. It says it has 100gb instead of 1TB that is in it ? I cannot access the files but in disk manager can see 957gb on the c drive.

Hello,

Have you tried the basics first ? How about restarting the computer ? >> https://www.digitalcitizen.life/7-ways-shut-down-or-restart-windows-10-pc-or-device

If restarting did not help, you may not access the files. It's probably because 100 GB are formatted and the rest (until 957) are not or corrupted formatting.

In order for the space to be accessible, it needs to be formatted in file system recognizable by the OS.

First, try going to Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management.

Use Disk Management, try to create new partition.

Here are a reference articles >> https://www.windowscentral.com/how-format-new-hard-drive-windows-10

Let me know if this helps.

N.B. ! There is a small chance this might not work and you may need to use 3rd party tool but try this first. Make sure you get familiar with the articles above.
